Internal Tourism at Shepherds Schools
Shepherds Schools proudly offers internal tourism experiences that enrich our students’ learning beyond the classroom. Through carefully planned excursions to some of Tanzania’s most iconic destinations, students gain firsthand exposure to the country’s rich natural heritage and cultural diversity.
Our internal tourism trips include visits to renowned sites such as Ngorongoro Crater, where students witness one of the world’s largest volcanic calderas and its abundant wildlife, and Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its diverse ecosystems and flamingo populations. These trips provide unique opportunities to study ecology, geography, and conservation in a real-world setting.
Additionally, students explore other significant cultural and historical sites across the country, fostering a deeper appreciation for Tanzania’s beauty and heritage. These journeys promote teamwork, environmental awareness, and personal growth, making internal tourism an integral part of the Shepherds Schools experience.
